1 sparrowhawk, 1 great spotted woodpecker, 4 house martin, 8 wood pigeon, 2 mistle thrush, 1 song thrush, 1 wren, mixed flock with minimum of 15 long tailed tit, 2 blue tit, 2 great tit, 2 coal tit and 2 goldcrest, 20 jackdaw, 3 carrion crow, 4 magpie, 2 goldfinch & 3 chaffinch.

Cowpe Res

1 sparrowhawk, 1 kestrel (1 also over Brandwood Moor), 1 grey wagtail, 10 pied wagtail, 48 meadow pipit round the res and flocks of 50+ & 30+ on the hillside above the res, 1 male stonechat, 1 robin, 45 starling in fields above res, lots of finches in the conifers as follows min 7 chaffinch, min 80 goldfinch, min 4 siskin and min 1 redpoll, also 1 reed bunting on hillside above the res

Lee Quarry (only walked along the top edge)

1 sparrowhawk, 1 snipe, 1 little owl, 30+ meadow pipit, 3 redpoll over, 20 carrion crow, 6 rook, 2 jackdaw & 5 magpie

Whitworth Quarry area

16 Canada goose, 1 snipe, 20 meadow pipit & 2 wheatear

Cowm

40 Canada goose, 3 cormorant, 45 mallard, 8 tufted duck, 1 coot, 20 black headed gull, 8 wood pigeon, 7 collared dove, 2 coal tit, 2 great tit, 2 blue tit, 12+ long tailed tit, 4+ goldcrest, 8 chaffinch, 18 goldfinch, 6 redpoll & 1 male bullfinch
