Pheasant, a male and three hens "flushed" from a tree near Holden Wood!

Golden Plover, c25 on the tops,

Snipe, just 1 flushed off the tops,

Herring Gull, 13 west,

B.H.Gull, c30 on pasture near Holden Wood,

Green Woodpecher, 1 yaffling at Calf Hey & 1 at Heap Clough,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 near Ogden,

Meadow Pipit, 2 naer Ogden,

Pied Wagtail, c6,

Dipper, flew over Ogden and then lost to view heading towards Haslingden Moor!

Wren, c12 several in good song!

Goldcrest, c6 mainly at Calf Hey,

Fieldfare, single at Holden Wood & flock of c200 in from the North,

Coal Tit, c12 especially at Calf Hey feeding station,

Nuthatch, 1 calling in Fairy Glen & 2 at Calf Hey feeding station,

Bullfinch, 3 at Heap Clough.
