Good to hear from you Steve. And yes thats what everyone else is saying, they reckon Sunday or Monday for a push.  It does sound from the reports yesterday evening etc that things may be gradually starting to get off the ground and getting a bit "cowder o'er in Scandi...", so looking forward to tomorrow!!

Well done and I hope your right!

Bryan

Hi Bryan

I have been keeping an eye on a few weather stations around the Northern Hemisphere and noted a turning of winds to North coupled with the temps which are actually in some parts of scand are still reaching double figures although I intend to mark a few others to keep an eye on. I wonder what food has been like that way on??

I note very cold temps from iceland and greenland which may see a few more Swans popping over.

Do you know of any predictive wind charts available that give winds for this area as most I find are a bit to local. I love some of the reports on Autumnwatch as the weather is tailored for migration.

Good luck yourself. I am only doing a couple of hours as I might pop over to Brockholes to see any Swans or Geese that I think may turn up....with any luck.

Hi Ste,

You got it right, Craig also and your both now up there with the top predictors of vismig pushes! (these Rossendalians Can still do it when necessary!!) the Thrushes have got going again this morning, and I am sure will keep on comin over the next few days.

In regards to sites with weather charts etc. I dont tend to bother much myself, but on the odd occasion when I have wanted to check out the continent etc, I have gone on Dave Barkers (vismig coordinator) site and he has loads of links to these weather sites. Hope you can find one, and heres the link to his site: http://vismig.blogspot.com/

Try to keep an eye in over the next few days if you get chance...

Best,

Bryan.
