Warth

grey heron - 4 pr nest building, 3 stock dove, 1 green woodpecker, 1 grey wagtail, 4 green finch & 1m bullfinch

Grane - Holden Wood and Calf Hey both completely frozen.  Ogden only about 5% frozen.  Visibilty down to less than 40 feet at times, particularly at Calf Hey

Holden wood

1pr Canada goose, 4pr mallard, 3 teal, 1 lapwing, 4 snipe, 1 kestrel, 24 black headed gull flying through, 2 common gull flying through, 3 wood pigeon, flock of 8 meadow pipit plus 1 other heard, 2 blue tit, 2 great tit, 2 robin, 1 magpie, 1 jay, 5 carrion crow,  1 chaffinch heard, 1 greenfinch heard and 1 goldfinch heard.

Ogden

1pr + 1m goosander, 1 pr goldeneye, 1 kestrel, min 20 black headed gull, min 4 common gull, min 1 lesser black back gull, min 15 herring gull, min 4 great black backed gull, 1 pied wagtail, 2 meadow pipit, 1m stonechat, carrion crow and 1 dipper

Calf Hey (most birds at the feeding station)

1 pr mallard, 1 black headed gull, 1 kestrel, 1 green woodpecker, 1 great spotted woodpecker, 7 wood pigeon, 5 robin, 14 balckbird, 1 nuthatch singing, 1 treecreeper, 1 dunnock, min 22 coal tit, min 10 blue tit, min 10 great tit, min 15 long tailed tit, min 10 chaffinch, 2m siskin, 2 goldfinch on the feeders and many others singing in the trees, flock of at least 10 crossbill seen below the dam wall & 1 bullfinch

1 kingfisher at Fallbarn in Rawtenstall this morning
