Goldfinch  more than usual

Greenfinch  again more than usual

Chaffinch    greatest increase in finch numbers

Redpoll     two pair, male is stunning hope they nest here

Siskin       small party of 5, all female on Saturday

Robin     good numbers defending territory

Dunnock   5/6 pairs

Nuthatch      I believe numbers are still increasing year on year

Treecreeper   only saw one bird this weekend

Wren     good numbers all over

Blackbird    plenty

Mistle Thrush   3 birds seen

Song Thrush    1 singing

Great Spotted Woodpecker at least 4 pair

Green Woodpecker   one heard only

Jay   3 at feeding station

Magpie   several

Jackdaw   10+

Carrion Crow  3

Rook     10+

Canada Goose    4

Goosander    3 pair on river

Kingfisher      2 flying up and down the river

Dipper           there are three pair, one pair has built nest.

Grey Wagtail    two pair

Mallard        many pair

Tawny Owl   calling
