Weekend off so Mandy and I tought Leighton Moss would be a treat.

Also I fancied adding Hawfinch so called in early at Sizergh castle

Very warm day with the haze hanging around most of the day.

Good to see two Female Marsh harrier, Glossy Ibis and of course the fabulous Hawfinch

What time did you get there to see the Hawfinch? I failed in my attempt back in February.

Got there about 07:30-08:00.

Where did you look for them?

5 months late but it was the childrens playground........I think,....its the usual place for them.....
