2 Blackcap in song around Ewood Bridge circuit - also odd Willow Warblers

3 Goosander flew up stream over Irwell Vale

250-300 hirundines - mostly Swallows, over E.B.S.W. min of 4 Swifts present + 1 Sparrowhawk which was heavily mobbed.

Pr Dipper at Irwell Vale with 2 fledged yng, others probably in nest judging from behaviour of adults.

C20 Pied Wagtail on E.B.S.W. Chiffchaff in song near entrance.

Com. Buzzard over Ravenshore

Notable absence of Grey Wagtails along rivers so far this spring - just odd sites tenanted.
