Cold and bright Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Tit, many using nest boxes

Great Tit, at least three pair in nest boxes

Coal Tit,  several pair

Long-tailed tit,  only saw one pair

Chaffinch, more than last year

Bullfinch,  several pairs at nest sites

Goldfinch, only one seen

Greenfinch, couple of pair

Robin, plentyfull, one pair with fledged young

Dunnock, four pair

Wren, plenty at nest sites

Nuthatch,  at least five pair, one pair in a nest box

Treecreeper, three pair, one linning nest at last years site

Willow Warbler, at least ten, some carrying nest material

Chiffchaff, two pair

Blackcap,  probably six pair

Blackbird, plenty, two quite large young seen

Mistle Thrush, one pair at nest site

Song Thrush, two pair

Jay, three individuals

Jackdaw, tree pair nesting in chimmeys

Great spotted Woodpecker,  three pair

Mallard, 10+ pair no young yet !

Canada Goose, one pair on eggs

Goosander, three pair + four young

Dipper, two pair, one feeding young on nest, one with two fledged young

Grey Wagtail, one pair

Pied Wagtail, one pair at a nest, this is unusual here

Kingfisher, two individuals fishing

Curlew, there are two pair who look like they have nest sites on my side of the Helmshore road.

Lapwing, one pair

Meadow Pipit, four individuals
