sunday 17 june 4.30-7.30

 

Holden Wood :-

1 common sandpiper, maybe 2?

1 grey heron

1 male reed bunting singing

small charm of goldfinch

3-4 linnet

1 dunlin on the shore.......surprise find!

4 lapwing

2 mallard flying up

plenty of meadow pipits - many parachuting

1 song thrush singing, quite a few willow warbler

7 min b h gulls,  usual carrion crows, woodpigeons, blackbirds, robins, chaffinches

2 curlew

 

Musbury:-

little owl

1 curlew

plenty of meadow pipit

3 min skylarks singing

a bird flying away from me which could have been a green woodepcker

 

Fairy Glen:-

3 wren - pair and single..........pair had young nearby

willow warbler

1 song thrush singing

 

Calf Hey

1 common sandpiper

1 oystercatcher which flw to ogden

many lbbg's  above

 

Ogden

1 cormorant

1 great crested grebe
