Grey Partridge, pair feeding in rushy field, for once seen without flushing them. Checked for young but none seen.

Curlew, pair & a single,

L.B.B.Gull, 2 flew up from Calderdale struggling against the strong wind,

Swift, c12 feeding over the grassland,

Skylark, c15 many in song,

Swallow, 2,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Wheatear, male with juv plus 2 further juvs,

Carrion Crow, large group of c30 birds marauding the moors,

Reed Bunting, 1 in song.
