Great stuff Kevin.  Saw your post on BC site.  Has anyone confirmed a first sighting for Ringlet?

Nobody from Butterfly Conservation has confirmed it if that's what you mean.

Aye it is. When you look at the BC Map, they don't get recorded in Lancs. A woman in Nelson told me she had them in her garden, but not seen them there yet.

ringlet isn't mentioned on the Lancashire and Cheshire avifauna society website either.  I do know that they are in Townley Park in Burnley though .

cheers Kevin
