A red kite was high over the quarry this morning

also present at least 350 lesser black backed gulls, 2 swift, 6 meadow pipit, 15 swallow, 1 wheatear, 24 carrion crow, 3 jackdaws, 1 willow warbler, 3 greenfinch, 4 goldfinch & 2 redpoll

Good to see that Kite sighting Kevin I have only ever seen one in the Valley and that was near Crown Point. It will only be a matter of time beforte sightings are more frequent. I Hope.

No unfortunately I don't,but that's the third sighting of Red Kite from the general area that has been reported this year!
