3 Raven soaring above my head for 10 minutes cronking, flipping over, diving- a pair which headed towards Hutch Bank and the 3rd must have gone westwards, south or even north but not east...

1 female mallard - the only mallard seen today

2 oystercatchers

in the felled plantation between ogden and calf hey  there was a whitethroat in branches which were cut and bundled on the floor, along with a wren, a male stone chat and maye a female nearby, also a finch of some sort.....which i cant make id of...there were also a pair of grey wagtail, and pied wagtails in the channel

Fairy Glen

a roving flock of great tits, coal tits, blue tits with some tree creepers and redpoll,   appeared to be a family party of wrens with juveniles begging for good, a blackbird, also a singing willow warbler

also the usual carrion crows, magpies, woodpigeons - in good numbers, swallows, house and some sand martins, not many swifts

How many records of Whitethroat have we had from Grane?   could this be passing through?   It looked liek it was either a juvenile or in moult.
