08:00 start, mist, poor visibility early on.

c40 Canada Geese

Plantings & moor

1 Mistle Thrush with 2 Fieldfare in tree tops moved off S.

Light Swallow passage over moor & S. c20 max.

Light M.Pipit passage from Boathouse to Compstons Cross & S. c40 max.

4 Wheatear on walls nr to Wholaw ruin

1 House Martin > S.

11 Skylark flushed in 2s & 3s at various points

Car park

2 Chiffchaff - 1 in short song

c16 flock of Goldfinch

5 Swallows feeding

1 Whinchat at rear of Boathouse
