• green sandpiper - 1 on the beds at EBSW
• sparrowhawk - 1 over EBSW and 1 at Warth
• kestrel - 2 over Warth
• black headed gull - c100 @ EBSW
• common gull - 1 at EBSW
• herring gull - a juvenile bird at EBSW was probably a pale second winter bird
• stock dove - 2 at EBSW
• skylark - 1 near Hurdles Quarry
• meadow pipit - c35 in Hurdles Quarry area (1flock of c20 plus several smaller groups)
• pied wagtail - just 1 at EBSW
• grey wagtail - 1 in Waterfoot and 1 in Rawtenstall
• dipper - singles at Lower Cloughfold and Fallbarn
• wheatear - 1 female in Hurdles Quarry
• mistle thrush - 1 at Lench & 2 at Hurdles Quarry
• treecreeper - 1 at Lench
• goldcrest - 1 at Lench
