Late Posting  - walk  from  1.30pm-5.10pm

Holden Wood :-

10 pied wagtails

1 cormorant

some linnet

1 grey heron

100 plus black-headed gulls through   with 1 common gull

robin in song

wren in rushes on other side under ogden dam wall

long-tailed tits

Musbury :-

little owl

buzzard

kestrel

green woodpecker - feeding away from trees around old quarries

Tops above Calf Hey:-

2 meadow pipits - first seen

Fairy Glen :-

long tailed tits

great tits

wren

Calf Hey:-

4 mallards, in 2 pairs

8 teals

Ogden :-

2 cormorant

black headed gulls

Holden Wood :-

7 cormorants in roost at 5pm

1-2 meadow pipit 

Usual birds seen as well.   No Lapwing and no Stonechats though!
