Finally managed to get around res. Two lovely males and one female. Mandy got some pics but sadly they have been lost by Bill Gates.

6 Crossbills near the little bridge today from 2-15 to 3-15pm,also 19 Pink footed Geese flying above the res for about 10 minutes before heading off north,my first sighting in Rossendale this winter!

Didnt even think of taking a camera today,it was that fine "wet" rain most of the time I was there.The Pink feet were a real bonus for me though! Many thanks for the advice last night.
