Cormorant, 1 flew south down the Valley,

Mallard, 2 pairs,

Pheasant, 1 calling at Alderbottom,

B.H.Gull, c60 at E.B.S.W,

L.B.B.Gull, c20 north,

Herring Gull, c200 north including a flock of c120,

Wood Pigeon, c40 in small flocks,

Pied Wagtail, c40 at E.B.S.W,

Dipper, pair at Strongstry,

Redwing, a flock of 5,

L.T.Tit, 2 small flocks,

Treecreeper, 1,

Jackdaw, c60 at E.B.S.W. and c200 south down the valley in flocks up to 40 birds,

Starling, pre-roost flock of c50 birds,

Goldfinch, 2,

Siskin, flock of 7 north,

6/1/13.

Hi Dave, very large numbers of Jackdaws moving S. over Townsendfold between 14:55 and 15:40 hrs. Counted 724 in flocks of up to c200 from Newhallhey and Clewes. I definetley missed some whilst in woodland at groundwork so total numbers were certainly higher.
