Hi Kevin

Saw you wandering around today. Good haul of birds

Regarding the tyre dumper. Did you notice the kind of vehicle that was dumping?

Hi Ste

It was a white transit van.  I have a photo of the offending vehicle which I will send to United Utilities.  I did phone 101, the non emergeancy police line, but they said fly tipping was not their responsibility it was the Environment Agency's.  I thought law breaking was always the police's rsponsibility.

cheers Kevin

Just to keep people informed I have signed a statement regarding the fly tipping and the van owner will be invited in to see the council.  The gentleman at the council who I spoke too seems to think it is an open and shut case and that the van owner will suffer quite severe financial retribution as a result.  I would encourage anybody else who sees anybody fly tipping to report it

cheers Kevin
