Canada Goose, c30 in small groups or pairs,

Mallard, c20,

Goldeneye, 2 females,

Goosander, redhead on Calf Hey,

Sparrowhawk, female seen several times,

Common Sandpiper, 1 on Holden Wood,

LRP, pair,

Snipe, 1 "chipping" at Holden Wood & 1 flushed off Thirteen Stone Hill,

Lapwing, c5 pairs around Holden Wood and a group of 5 over Hog Lowe Pike,

Golden Plover, a pair on the tops,

Oystercatcher, 2 pairs in dispute at Calf Hey,

Curlew, 2 possibly 3 pairs,

B.H.Gull, c12,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over,

Stock Dove, 1 east down the valley,

Wood Pigeon, c12,

Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffling,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 drumming at Calf Hey,

Skylark, c10 many in song,

Swallow, c6, maily singles,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Pied Wagtail, 1,

Song Thrush, c5 singing birds,

Fieldfare, single bird,

Wheatear, c12 mainly near Jamestone, many in song,

Stonechat, male in song near Calf Hey,

Siskin, many singles over calling plus a flock of 5,

Reed Bunting, 2 at Holden Wood and 1 on the tops near Thirteen Stone Hill,
