11am-1.30pm

Holden Wood:-

 

1 LIttle Ringed Plover

2 Common Sandpiper

5-6 pairs of Lapwing

1 Mallard

1 GBB Gull

2 Cormorant

3 Pied Wagtail

3 Wren

3 Willow Warblers

1 Song Thrush

a few Meadow pipits

1 Reed Bunting

2 Curlew - 1 calling from Ogden side

 

Musbury:-

 

min 5-6 Meadow Pipits

1 male Pheasant

1 female Ring Ousel

1 Wheatear

5-6 pairs of Lapwings furiously mobbing Crows

2 Grey Herons in a pond

 

Holden Wood:-

3 Mallards - all drakes

2Wheatear males half way around the reservoir - not seen any here before for a long time so must have been pasisng through

3 LRP in the field where the Lapwings nest - they must have just arrived as well. 

a few Swallows
