I had no idea we had Adder's in Rossendale.   I assumed they would prefer somewhere a bit warmer and drier.  I think some one here should write a letter back.  I have one in mind.  What points could I put in?  People letting their dogs off leads and disturbing ground nesting birds is one.  I do feel sorry for the lady and would not like to be bitten by anything myself but we have driven wildlife from  our urban areas and now some will want to drive them away from the countryside too.
