some can be absolute monsters with appetites to match! they have been known to kill birds as large as shelduck, catch mammals to the size of rabbits, rob cormorants and gannets, stand up to the great skua and displace birds of prey such as peregrine, osprey, buzzard, marsh harrier from their catches.
