Hello everyone down in Rossendale..

Good to be back vismigging this year, but my records will be much fragmented this year, because I am now subject to daddy/grandaddy chauffering duties on most mornings which then take me down to Heysham and subsequently I have been calling in at the reserve and giving Pete Marsh a lift doing the vis so he can carry on concentrating on his ringing etc.  Will also be doing vis at Burton In Kendal (a good day yesterday on the hirundines) and also back to Hutton Roof.

Today Monday 23rd 2013 I had the following through Heysham Nature Reserve.

Meadow Pipits: 245 (best parties 30,10,17,40,15,13) Most coming in off from the Grange/Ulverston  directions NW to SE

Swallows: 12

Chaffinch: 15

Skylark: 1

Grey Wagtail: 9

Alba Wagtail: 9

Reed Bunting:1

Goldfinch 3
