grey heron - 2 at Warth
sparrowhawk - 1 at Warth and 1 over the woods at Plunge
common buzzard - 2 birds drifted uop the valley at plunge
merlin - a male flew low over Hurdles Quarry, then high over Waterfoot towards The Hile
kestrel - 1 near Hurdles Farm, min of 3 at Plunge and 1 at Horncliffe
peregrine - 1 briefly chasing a kestrel at Plunge
skylark - 2 near Heights Quarry and 1 at Plunge
stock dove 4 in Hurdles Quarry
woodpigeon - min 35 near Hurdles Farm
green woodpecker - 2 at Hurdles Quarry
meadow pipit - min 60 from Hurdles Quarry to Heights Quarry and 16 at Plunge
wheatear - 3 near Whittaker Pasture and 1 at Heights Quarry
stonechat - 1pr at Plunge
raven - 1 seen soaring over Edge Cote 1 seen flying towards Cragg Quarry over Waterfoot
jay - 2 at Warth and 2 at plunge
lesser redpoll - 1 heard at Plunge
goldfinch - charm of 15 at hurdles Farm
linnet - 1 heard near Hurdles Quarry
reed bunting - 3 at Plunge

walked up to Heights Quarry today (8th October) and added the following
peregrine seen over Seat Naze
1 kestrel at Brow Edge Quarry was forced to drop the prey it was carrying by a carrion crow. Both birds then tangled with a male sparrowhawk
1 kingfisher at Warth
1 dipper at Warth
1 grey wagtail at Warth
2 pied wagtails at Warth & 5 at Hurdles Quarry
at least 17 robin at Warth
2 wheatear still present near Whittaker Pasture
6 mistle thrush behind Lench Fold Farm
siskin heard at Warth
