on the reservoir there was a cormorant , 4 on bank.....

plenty of Crows, 40 min Jackdaws, B H Gulls

min of 150 Lapwings - maybe even over 200 - flocks were coming and going ..they along with the B H Gulls and Jackdaws often rose to the air.....

I set up 2 separate feeders - both at far end. the first is around where the dead trees are and you will see two coconut feeders and on the dead tree stumps and fallen trunks I put mealworms, crushed fat balls, peanuts etc. the second is not far just on the other side of the hedge where it meets the walls ..plenty of meal worms, peanuts, fat balls crushed, nyger seeds.....
Ogden:-
Mistle Thrush in trees near old rail track
7 Fieldfare further up the path in the stunted trees...there are 2 Rowan trees......the berries have almost all gone......
6-7 Mallard and plenty of B H Gulls on reservoir

Calf Hey:-
G BB Gull on reservoir which flew south....must have been same bird seen at Holden Wood.......must be same bird knocking around since summer
31 min teal.....could hear them whistling from Fairy Glen

On the way back:-
at least 23 Fieldfare in usual place with 2 Mistle Thrush trying to drive them off
Kestrel on slopes of Ogden
Grey heron on Holden Wood
sounds of teal from Ogden and Holden Wood but none seen
7 min Cormorants in roost incl 2 white headed and necked beauties
Magpies on both of the little feeding stations I set up.....but also 2 Great Tits......other small bird activity too
