Grey Heron, 1 flew up the valley,

Canada Goose, 81 on flooded pasture,

Mallard, c12,

Teal, springs of 21 off a small pond and 9 in flooded rough pasture,

Kestrel, 7 singles probably involving duplicate birds,

Sparrowhawk, a male through near Ridshaw Farm chased by a crow,

Pheasant, male calling,

Snipe, 60 flushed off Harden Moor and 2 from flooded marsh,

Jack Snipe, 4 flushed off Harden Moor,

B.H.Gull, c200 especially on pasture near Rossendale School,

common Gull, c60 especially on pasture near Rossendale School,

Herring Gull, c30 in flocks up to 10 over north east and on pasture,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over,

G.B.B.Gull, c12 on pasture near Rossendale School,

Wood Pigeon, c200 in flocks up to 50 birds,

Stock Dove, pair over,

Meadow Pipit, c20 inc a flock of c12 near Buckhurst,

Pied Wagtail, 1,

Fieldfare, a flock of c80 with Starling,

Redwing, calling birds over not seen,

Mistle Thrush, 1,

Coal Tit, 1 with blue & Greats,

Rook, c40 feeding in mixed flock with Jackdaws,

Jackdaw, c60 in mixed flock with Rooks,

Jay, 2 calling birds,

Raven, pair through "prukking" and single over Deeply Hill several times again "Prukking"!,

Starling, c800 in flocks up to 400, many feeding on flooded pasture,

Bullfinch, 1 calling bird near Ridshaw,

Reed Bunting, 1 on Harden Moor,
