There are now around nine nest holes that are active, and increasing each day, along the river between Strongstry and Stubbins, unfortunately or fortunately the foot path along the river has been closed as they are doing flood defence work at Stubbins.
This work I am assured will not encroach on the breeding area of the Sand Martins.
