Pink Footed Goose, 2 at Holden Wood feeding on pasture with Canada Geese,

Canada Goose, c20 in small groups, some sitting birds,

Mallard, c12, also female with 2 ducklings on Holden Wood,

Kestrel, 2 singles,

Buzzard, soaring pair,

Pheasant, 2 calling birds,

Coot, 1 on Holden Wood Res,

Moorhen, 1 on Holden Wood Res,

L.R.P, pair,

Common Sandpiper, 1,

Snipe, "chipping" bird at Holden Wood,

Lapwing, 2 at Holden Wood and 3 flew west up the valley,

Oystercatcher, pairs at Holden Wood & Calf Hey,

Curlew, 1 feeding on pasture at Holden Wood and 2 pairs on Haslingden Moor / Thirteen Stone Hill,

B.H.Gull, c20,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over west,

Skylark, c12 on the tops,

Swallow, c12 especially Holden Wood,

Sand Martin, c4,

Meadow Pipit, c30,

Pied Wagtail, 2 pairs,

Grey Wagtail, 1, bottom of Heap Clough,

Wheatear, 6,

Stonechat, pair near Calf Hey,

Song Thrush, c4 singing,

Chiffchaff, 1 singing near Holden Wood,

Reed Bunting, 2 males at Holden Wood.
