House Martins have been busy all week picking up mouthfuls of wet clay loam from the bowlers and batsmen's footholes, I assume they use this for nestbuilding, it's quite amazing the quantity they remove, they're like mini excavators. Buzzard overhead most days, lots of pied wagtail, two grey wagtail, house sparrow and tits on feeders plus a Redpoll.
