Spotted Flycatcher.

One pair of Spotted Flycatcher have set up a nest site in a woodland setting and are sitting on eggs.

There is still an individual bird near Alderbottom which is singing constantly (picture attached) apparently unsuccessfully at the moment.

I had one on my window ledge a few days ago (Cowpe) after the spiders :)

Hi Helen,

Have you seen the bird since, they are quite an unusual breeding species in Rossendale and we would like to know of any breeding pairs locally.
