Grey Heron, 1 flew into the quarry on Nutshaw,

Mallard, female with 7 newly hatched ducklings and 2 males,

Kestrel, male hunting the top end,

Sparrowhawk, 1 flew over Constable Lee on the way home,

Pheasant, 1 calling,

Curlew, 2 calling birds,

L.B.B.Gull, 3 over south,

Wood Pigeon, 2 over,

Little Owl, 1 sat on fence post,

Skylark, c10, many singing,

Swallow, c4,

Meadow Pipit, c30,

Grey Wagtail, 1,

Pied Wagtail, 4,

Song Thrush, 1,

Coal Tit, c4,

Goldcrest, 1 calling from conifers,

Blackcap, 1 singing in car park,

Willow Warbler, c12 singing birds,

Starling, flocks of 200, 30 & 40 feeding on the moors,

House Sparrow, c6,

Goldfinch, flock of c9 plus a single,

Greenfinch, flock of 4,

Chaffinch, c12 with many in song,

Redpoll, c5 singles over plus a flock of 3,

Reed Bunting, 3 singing birds.
