2 coots, 3 moorhens, few canada geese, mallards and black-headed gulls only birds on the water

2 snipe flushed from south shore and 1 common sandpiper north shore

Grasshopper warbler reeling nr Limy Lane. Little sign of passerine migration with the possible exception of 1 wheatear on the south shore and about 10 pied wagtails

Hi Andy,

I popped on tonight for a hour, 7:00-8:00, and can add:

Kestrel, 2 hunting over Nutshaw,

Swift, c12 over the hills,

Swallow, c12 around the res,

Raven, 2 over north east,

Redpoll, 1 over singing,

Linnet, 2 males on res bank.
