A good morning with plenty of birds on the move.

Canada Goose, family of 5 on the res and 14 grazing on pasture including the pale bird,

Mallard, c12,

Kestrel, 1 over plantations at top end,

Coot, pair in south bay,

Moorhen, 1 in south bay,

Common Sandpiper, a group of 3 and a single on the res shore,

Snipe, 1 on res shore,

Common Gull, adult flew in from the south and went on through,

B.H.Gull, c12 inc juv,

L.B.B.Gull, c50 over,

Herring Gull, 5 over,

Swift, c15 over the res early on,

Swallow, c40,

House Martin, 2 over dam wall,

Meadow Pipit, c70 along res banking, 

Pied Wagtail, family of c6,

Whinchat, 3 on fence posts behind boat house and 1 on fence post off Limy Lane including a couple of juvs, 

Sedge Warbler, 1 in rushes on res bank near south bay,

Grasshopper Warbler, 1 reeled twice behind boat house,

Willow Warbler, c20 with many juvs; some birds still in song,

Coal Tit, calling from conifers at top end and point wood,

Starling, party of 10 on Nutshaw,

Goldfinch, c12 inc many juvs,

Chaffinch, c4,

Redpoll, several singles over singing,

Reed Bunting, c12 inc many juvs.
