3 whinchats - 1 on south shore and 2 on the path up to Ogden (nr tramway) I assume different birds.
Female and 3 juv stonechats and 1 whitethroat also here.
Flocks of 40+ linnets and 60+ starlings. A scattering of other passerines including a few swallows willow warblers, reed buntings, pied wags, goldfinches and meadow pipits (all in single figures)
Townsend Fold to Ewood Bridge
Sand martins still present but young poking their heads out so don't suppose they'll be long.......
2 whitethroats, 2+ kingfishers and 1 singing chiffchaff between here and Ewood Bridge
