Lots of stuff in the car park included singing Chiffchaff of which there was a minimum of 3 birds. Also Goldcrest,Blackbird,Goldfinch, Chaffinch,Reed Bunting,Dunnock, Wren, Robin, G.S.W. 30+ birds in total.

1 Sedge Warbler in bankside rushes.
1 Kingfisher still present - calling, fishing and perching up nicely.
1 Osprey seen circling below skyline over Dunnockshaw area, possibly the same bird reported to me from the same area on 14/9/14 when it was seen to take a fish from the fishery at Loveclough.
1 Buzzard soared E from Nutshaw hill then 3 more hunting low over the same hillside 20 mins later.
Min 2 Kestrel around the site appearing at various points being mobbed by crows and in turn mobbing Buzzards.
1 Pheasant
2 Jay in plantations + 1 over the quarry later.
1 Willow Warbler in plantation with small mixed flock which inc. 1 Long tailed Tit and several Chaffinch.
1 Skylark heard from moor.
3 Rook > S.
Flock of 15 Goldfinch.
1m Stonechat - my 1st this autumn at this site.
3 Pied Wagtail on roof tops along roadside along with c12 House Sparrows.
Meadow Pipit numbers on the low side with half a dozen single figure groups seen.
