I saw a Gw Egret flying east over Ogden at 1110 hrs today.

Good that it is back! It clearly likes the place and there is something which attracted it back. It could just as well choose any other water body in the area but Holden Wood clearly is it's preference even with those Grey Heron's

Is it the same bird? Most probably!

still there at 2:30pm along with thwe following

  • 3 grey heron
  • 10 lapwing
  • 10 teal
  • c20 mallard
  • 3 kestrel
  • 1 snipe
  • c40 meadow pipit
  • c6 pied wagtail
  • 2 raven over
  • 4 reed bunting
