Buckden woods/Beetle hill.

Bright sunny 11 degrees, 0730 to 1030.

Plenty of all four Tit species around but Finches were thin on the ground.

Goldfinch small party of seven.

Chaffinch  2.

Nuthatch 3.

Treecreeper 2 (I see Dave has at last recorded this bird for th year).

Great Spotted Woodpecker 3.

Blackbirds, Robins, Dunnock and Wren all appear to be doing well.

Buzzard a pair were on the ground on Beetle hill with a dead rabbit being harassed by Corvids.

Green Woodpecker. (Female) feeding and calling along a dry stone wall.

Pheasant 2 male 1 female.

Snipe 2 in wet ground beside a silage heap.

In the muck spread fields were,

Meadow Pipit 14 approx.

Lapwing 9.

Song Thrush 3.

Mistle Thrush 5.

Pied Wagtail  5.

Plenty of Rook, Jackdaw, only two Carrion Crow, but 6 Magpie.

Some Black-headed Gulls and Starlings further down the field, no count.

Jay three on the way back along with four Goosander on th river at Lumb.
