Late on parade this morning, walked up from Reedsholme so didn't arrive until after 10:00hrs

AJ had already watched 3 Swallows through + an assortment of M.Pipits and Chaffinch.

A decent tit flock amongst the plantings had at least 15 Long tailed, 1 Goldcrest and 1 probable Chiffchaff seen briefly on occassions but never long enough to clinch ID, didn't call. This flock weren't seen to pass through so were presumably still in the planting when we left.

Few pipits and Chaffinch moving S along with -

1 Goldfinch

1f Bullfinch

3 Linnet

2 Siskin

1 Greenfinch

1 Skylark

1 Pied Wagtail

2 Stonechat with pipits on fence +3 on walls some distance away on walk back to res.

Usual constant presence of Reed Buntings in planting, blogging and feeding on Red Moss

Clowbridge res -

3 Teal

1 Cormorant

6 M. Pipit

Kestrel - min 4 in the area.

A few extra bits'n'bobs:-

Earlier a chiffchaff singing south car park, about 10 reed buntings behind boathouse/south shore area and 1 kingfisher south shore.

Around 100 meadow pipits between Compstons and Meadow Head but hardly any between here and Bonfire Hill. 1 snipe Swinshaw Moor
