Cormorant, 7 in the area at least with a flock of 6 flying off south down the valley,
Grey Heron, 1 flew over the moors to the north of the res,
Canada Goose, 13 flew off south and 1 on the back pond.
Mallard, a flock of 20 flew in to join 3 already on the res,
Teal, 4 in South Bay,
Goosander, female flew over from the north,
Peregrine, male over Compston's from the north and landed briefly in a pylon,
Merlin, female over Compston's took a quick pass at a small bird,
Kestrel, c6 over moors including 2 tussling males,
Sparrowhawk, female over car park first thing,
Pheasant, male in rough grassland near Compston's
B.H.Gull, c12 on res,
Wood Pigeon, c100 in flocks to 40,
Skylark, 1 over calling and a flock of 7 through south,
Pied Wagtail, c6 through south and 1 on res bank,
Grey Wagtail, male on res shore,
Meadow Pipit, c150 over south in flocks to 12,
Tits, a mixed flock of Blue, Great, Coal & Long Tailed in old wood,
Goldcrest, c4 in new plantation and a similar number at Compston's plantation,
Rook, 1 over south,
Jay, c12 coming in from several directions,
Starling, 17 through west over Compston's,
House Sparrow, c6 in car park,
Goldfinch, a flock of c40 between car park and Nutshaw,
Greenfinch, flocks of 4 & 3 over Compston's,
Chaffinch, c30 over Compston's in flocks to 6,
Siskin, a flock of 3 south over Compston's,
Reed Bunting, c12 at Compston's plantation.
