Visible Bird Migration - Burton In Kendal,
 Cumbria from 0730hrs to 1030hrs (total - 3 hours)
All movement South unless specified. A drop back with wind to East/South East 6mph at times and decreasing. Movement very strong at first but totally petered out by about 0915hrs. The birds kept to a similar direction line as the last couple of days (to South), but had moved further over to the East eg: following the Hutton Roof Ridge (West Side) but coming directly over Bell Cottage near Russell Farm. By the time I had walked over to the watch point behind Russell Farm the movement had just about stopped! sods law. Can only put the sudden stop down to the brightness and getting warm and the reduction in wind to calm.
