Clowbridge car park - lots of Goldfinch,Chaffinch, Greenfinch; at least 20 greenfinch, largest flock this autumn, rather scarce elsewhere on my wanderings.

c50 flock of Wood Pigeon flew down the valley.

Compstons Cross - 08:17 - 10:00 hrs - S. wind all birds to S.

Redwing - 64 in 5 groups + 100 mixed fieldfare

Fieldfare - 1 >N + 587 in 4 groups to S. 2x c200 largest

Starling - 27 in 2 groups

Skylark - 2 W.

Wood Pigeon - 171 in 6 groups

Greenfinch - 19 in 3 groups

Goldfinch - 3

Chaffinch - 4 to S + 3 to N.

1 Bullfinch in planting

Reed Bunting - 2 in planting

Blackbird - 1 in planting

1 Kestrel over plantings

3 groups of 24 finches unidentified, too busy writing stuff down!

Reservoir.

4 Mistle Thrush over res. to S.

2 Meadow Pipit

1 Wren

3f Goosander on res.

3 Cormorant.

5 1st w. Herring/L.B.B.Gull

Car Park

Finch numbers thinned out by 11:00hrs but still good numbers of Green & Gold 25+

1 Song Thrush

1 Redwing

few Tits, Robin, Wren, Dunnock.

P.S. 29/10/14 - report of 2 Red Kite over Clowbridge to W. at 10:30 hrs.
