I suppose the term "winter" is not quite appropriate at the moment, but the feeding stations have been up and running since the last week of September, during that time I have been away quite a bit and a friend has been topping up the feeders.
In a normal year I would have used several kilos of feed by now, not this year, I have hardly scratched the surface of the stock.
A quick count for an hour at 1000 hrs this morning in bright sunshine and 13 degrees revealed>
