Grey Heron, 1 on bottom lodge,

Canada Goose, 12 flew off towards Bury and 22 feeding on pasture,

Mallard, 5 on the flash near Deeply Vale,

Teal, 1 on the flash and 10 on the bottom lodge,

Peregrine, pair hunting Harden Moor, often flying low over the moor as if trying to flush their quarry,

Kestrel, at least 6 with 3 seen at once near Deeply Hill,

Jack Snipe, 3 on Harden Moor,

Snipe, 42 on Harden Moor,

B.H.Gull, c40,

Common Gull, c12,

Herring Gull, c12,

L.B.B.Gull, 1,

Grey Wagtail, 2,

Pied Wagtail, 2,

Meadow Pipit, c12,

Fieldfare, c60 in flocks to 12,

Redwing, c6,

Mistle Thrush, 4 singles,

Blackbird, lots about with perhaps 40 in groups to 8 birds,

Goldcrest, 2 picking through Hawthorns,

Jay, 2 singles,

Rook, c20 feeding on pasture,

Raven, a pair seen twice calling as they patrolled the Valley,

Starling, c12,

Bullfinch, single male,

Greenfinch, just 1,

Goldfinch, c12.
