Cormorant, 1 sat in the top of a Hawthorn!

Grey Heron, 1 on bottom Lodge,

Teal, 24 on bottom lodge, 4 on scrape and 2 on top lodge,

Mallard, c8,

Kestrel, 1 at Edenfield on the drive up was the only sighting,

Sparrowhawk, female hassled by crows at Deeply Vale,

Pheasant, male & 2 females,

Moorhen, singles on top & bottom lodges,

Jack Snipe, 1 on Harden Moor,

Snipe, 24 on Harden Moor,

Herring Gull, c250 generally heading north,

L.B.B.Gull, c10,

Common Gull, c6 on pasture,

B.H.Gull, c20 on pasture,

Wood Pigeon, c50 in flocks to 20,

Little Owl, 1 near Ridshaw,

Pied Wagtail, 2,

Fieldfare, c150 in flocks to 40,

Mistle Thrush, single & a pair,

Song Thrush, 1,

Blackbird, c25,

Goldcrest, 2,

Coal Tit, 2, in mixed flock,

Treecreeper, 1, in mixed flock,

Nuthatch, 1 in mixed flock,

Jay, 1,

Raven, pair over twice calling,

Starling, c250 in flocks to 130 birds,

Goldfinch, c30 in charms to 12,

Bullfinch, 2.
