visit to Calf Hey from 8.45 to 11

2 jay, great spotted woodpecker, 2 crows and chaffinch I have seen on my feeder

1 green woodpecker , plenty of goldcrest, at least 3 treecreeper in woods

near car park 2 nuthatch, 3 treecreeper, 4-5 gold crest and usual tits

highlight of the day a Peregrine catching a woodpigeon...I assume it was caught because neither bird rose from the field and the crows started to caw from the trees and gather round......

HI Craig,

just responded - there were the Geese right across the valley - I cant remember how many but very far away - they were very distant and makes me think could they have been even Swans on the move?
