Holden wood:-

61 commongulls

42 black headed gulls

1 snipe 

17 lapwing

3 teal

1 grey heron

3 and then 35 starling

1 pied wagtail

1 grey wagtail

,9 meadow pipits

2 stonechat - pair

2 wren

3 robin

2 blacbird

4 reed bunting

Redpolls zinging away

Goldfinch charm

1 mistle thrush

11 cormorant - 7 in roost rest on Ogden or Holden wood and some on both

1 great black back gull on water

2 herring gulls over - 1 adult and immature

1 coot

1 moorhen

 

Ogden:-

12 mallard

Pair GoldenEye

4 tufted duck

1 wren

1 fieldfare

 

Calf Hey:-

2 kestrels

Abt 10 b h gulls

 

On way back at Holden Wood near silver gate at top end which is always open something ran across the ice definitely not a mammal I suspect Water Rail as it was a fraction of a Moorhens size but sadly it did not show again or make any noises as I waited.  It must have hiding in the rushes.
