• lesser black backed gull - 5 over Edge Cote and c30 flying down the Irwell Valley
• goldcrest - 1 at Marl Pits
• starling - 25 in trees at higher Cloughfold
• chaffinch - flock of 20 at Marl Pits
• goldfinch - charm of 8 at Marl Pits
• greenfinch - singing males at Greendale Avenue, Seat Naze, Edge Cote & Higher Cloughfold
• redpoll - 2 at Edge Cote
