3-4 moorhens
4 coot
3 teal
Min 14 mallard
7 lapwing
2 oystercatcher
1 kestrel
1 mistle thrush in song
1 pied wagtail
Good numbers of meadow pipit displaying
Good numbers of reed bunting wrens
1 dunnock
0 b h gulls in morning then around 8 later
1 pheasant
2 lesser black backed gulls
2 great crested grebe although 1 at start
Biggest surprise of all was a little grebe
Musbury Height :-
3 stock dove over
1 ring ouzel male
1 curlew
4 min lapwing
Musbury :-
3 male pheasant
2 mallard over
4 stone chat - 2 pairs
1 buzzard
9 wheatear - 2 singles and a fall of 7 which must have just landed as just seen on return
1 g s woodpecker
2 green woodpecker yaffling
4 curlew - 2 pairs - both see flying form path but on musden head moor
a possible lizard or shrew.....something dark and slim slipped out of sight
quite a few singing skylark
some queen bees out
