Dabchick, 1 on HTL,

Grey Heron, 1 flew west over Wet Moss,

Canada Goose, 3 on Alden Ratchers,

Mallard, 2 drakes over,

Buzzard, 1 perched on fence post near Alderbottom,

Pheasant, c12 especially in Alden,

Lapwing, 1 displaying in Alden, 1 over Wet Moss, & 3 on pasture off Holcombe Road,

Golden Plover, a pair and a flock of 23 on the tops,

Curlew, 2 / 3 pair,

B.H.Gull, c6 at EBSW,

G.B.B.Gull, 1 over east,

Stock Dove, 2 pairs in Alden,

Kingfisher, single seen 3 times on The Irwell,

Skylark, c50, many in song especially on Bull Hill & area,

Meadow Pipit, c400 through north & c40 on territory,

Grey Wagtail, 2 pair,

Pied Wagtail, c4 pair,

Wheatear, 3 in Alden & 2 on Wet Moss, all males,

Stonechat, pair, female collecting nesting material,

Mistle Thrush, 3 singing males,

Song Thrush, 1 singing male,

Fieldfare, a flock of 12 in Alden & 6 near Buckden,

Chiffchaff, singing birds at Snig Hole & HTL,

Dipper, singing bird on The Irwell,

Coal Tit, c4,

Blue & Great in good numbers at Sunnybank with c12 of each,

L.T.Tit, pair at Sunnybank & a pair at HTL,

Nuthatch, 3 singing birds at Sunnybank,

Treecreeper, 1 at Sunnybank,

Raven, 1 over south,

Goldfinch, c12,

Chaffinch, c12,

Greenfinch, 2 singing at Sunnybank,

Linnet, pair in Alden & Buckden,

Reed Bunting, singing bird in Alden.
